Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just discovered that my engine had been replaced at some time; Porsche...AT designation: M96/04AT66165938 ***; I have actually owned the car for 2 years and never knew. I would like to know how many miles are on the replacement engine...any ideas?? Nothing on Carfax, and I dont have other maintenance records. Thanks, brad

POST 2Original post

Part of a certificate of origin check with Porsche should disclose if a factory motor was done by the dealer..

Post a copy of your Carfax. You might be able to find out more info that's not obvious.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
