Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No CEL but it is very noticeable until the engine is fully warmed up, when it disappears. Idles fine at all temps. Doesn't miss at a constant speed. It goes to the indy on Monday, but I am wondering what this board may think. Variable timing? Injectors? 2003 w/ an LN 3.8 litre.

POST 2Original post

Hard to diagnose without a scan tool. I‘d want to look at data while running. O2, fuel injector pulse width, fuel trims, MAF readings, fuel pressure, etc. Too many things it could be. (Fuel Pump, O2 sensor, crank or cam sensor, fuel injector, ignition coil, etc)

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
