Purchased a beautiful 99 911 coupe 42,000 miles. Always wanted one I did however purchase the extended waranty for 3 yrs 36,000 miles for $3,600. One reason I did this for was because of stories that I heard about rear main seal issues. In the showroom this car had a dead battery. I asked the "salesman" how would you get the hood open to jump the car if the battery was dead?? He did not know. Also are there any quirks I should know about this car? Thanks so much! Rick

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
