Anyone know how to remove just this plastic trim? The horizontal piece, not the flap. Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Yes, there are four tabs that engage in slots in the bumper, however, they have an integral piece that prevents you from just prying the part out. If you attempt to do that, you are likely to damage the tabs. The best way to remove them is from inside the bumper, compressing the piece down while guiding the tab out of the slot. Its hard to describe, but will be an aha moment, once you see the way it works.
Yeah, I looked at the part diagram and figured I'd have to remove the bumper. Did that and it all made sense.
