Hi everyone!! Its been a while since I have put together a drive, but I have been helping out with the organizing of a charity event that benefits the Oakland Childrens Hospital and thought this would be a great opportunity to get everyone together for a little driving as we havent done that in a while. Here are the details: Date: Saturday, October 7th. Meeting Point: Stead Porsche in Walnut Creek Time: 9:00am Stead has kindly offered up their facility for our initial meeting point. Eric Shaefer (The Service Manager) will open up their new state of the art facility for us and have Northern Californias only Gold Meister Guild Technician at your disposal for any questions you might have about your Pcar. As well, they will have racks available for any of you who would like to see what the under part of your car looks like. The alignment guy will be there for anyone wishing to have that done and of course, they will have the PIWIS testers available for reading and erasing faults (Good thing, I just had one pop up!), or playing w/version coding if anyone feels so inclined. Donuts and coffee will be available and other Porsche goodies to take home for all those in attendance that day. We are hoping for a guest appearance by a CGT and a 996TT MONSTER car by one of Erics customers (Some of you guys probably know about these two cars and the guy who owns them!) 10:30am we will depart for a nice leisurely drive around some great East Bay roads (Route to be disclosed at 10am at the drivers briefing). We will end the drive in the East Bay at a place that we can all congregate for lunch. Sooooo.please come out for a day of Cars for Kids and enjoy Steads new facility and a great drive with other enthusiasts. ALL CAR MAKES WELCOME!! We hope to see you there!! RobynC Please email me at robyn . charal @ gmail . com (remove the spaces) your RSVP so we know how many of you will be attending.

Hey everyone, a big shout out to everyone who showed up today. The drive was a blast and I hope you all had as much fun as I did! Thanks again to Stead Porsche of Walnut Creek and Round Table Pizza Corporation for their support. For those who donated, a BIG thank you from the bottom of my heart. The Oakland Children's Hospital will get a nice check! I'll post some pictures up as soon as they are finished uploading.
