Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here's a quick photo of the new aero kit (factory oem). Please don't look at the wheels as they are track wheels. My new Forgelines are due at the end of the month. [IMG] [/IMG]

POST 2Original post

very nice... I'm thinking about doing the same thing.. Did you install it yourself or did you have a bodyshop do it? Looks like the shop did a good job on the paint.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had Precision Frame and Body in Cincinnati do the install. The paint is top notch.

POST 4Original post

Very nice! Those wheels aren't bad, reminiscent of the stockers on the Bentley Conti GT

POST 6Original post

Very nice! I was so pleased when I completed my aero package after only having the side panels. It just transforms the look of the car.

POST 7Original post

Hey Alan! LOVE it! Looking forward to hooking up with you in person to check it out

POST 10Original post

I *like* those wheels lol. What are they? I've never seen them on a 996 before...

POST 11Original post

Niiiiiiice... Love those rockers! The tail just completes the look of your car, nicely done!

POST 16Original post

Nice, transformed the whole car You have to be really careful now with that front lip.

POST 17Original post

Alan - very nice addition! Your car looks SCHWEEEET!

POST 18Original post

looks badass. i'd never roll a 911 sans aerokit and aftermarket wheels

POST 19Original post

Alan, How did you chose Mark II over the other brands, and how much did the kit and kaboodle cost? I'm considering getting an aero kit for my 996.

POST 21Original post

Nice job, Alan. It looks exactly like my GT3. One of these days when I get some replacement clips I'll reinstall the flexible front lower lip spoiler. Cheers, Allan 2004 996 GT3

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here's a new shot with the new wheels and tint just before the new owner picked it up. I'm now looking for a GT3 Allan, They are close in looks but not in performance. Hopefully I can find a black GT3

POST 23Original post

Sad day seeing that car go. Is it going to be staying in Ohio? Looking forward to seeing it's replacement though. Andy

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, the new owner is in Cincinnati

POST 25Original post

I was buying it if the deal did not go thru, amazing car !

POST 26Original post

Those Forgeline wheels look great on the car. The car looks amazing. Good luck with your GT3 hunt. Allan 2004 996 GT3

POST 27Original post

Alan is a great guy to deal with. At least the car has gone to a fellow rennlister. I sold my 99 C2 with aero kit to another rennlister. I was without the car for one week and got sad in the pants without it, and just contacted Alan asking if he knew of anyone selling ... Good timing ... I was not 100% ready to purchase -- since this is more impulsive than anything -- but, great car and person to deal with. I really did not want black on black again -- was looking for something different .. But, guess the powers that be want me to wash the car every week. I was actually thinking of a widebody C4S; but, harder to find now with winter coming around I think. Maybe I'll upgrade when Alan upgrades from the GT3
