I've read two really long posts about Dansk exhaust vs factory PSE and I still cannot tell from the posts which version of the Dansk exhaust, the 96300S (Sport) or 96300S EXP (Sport 'Super Sound') is more like the sound levels of the factory PSE (also love the rapsy sound).
Like others, in by 01 Cab, the Fabspeeds were too loud...and my current GHL regulars sound OK, but I'm looking for the raspy factory PSE sound.
For those that did purchase the Dansk exhuasts...any one have opinions on which version is closest to the PSE? Cab owners especially since the open top makes a large difference on what is too loud!!!

Tim - Good point!!! I guess its the cost of the PSE that eats at me since its double the cost of anything else out there?
I was looking thru some old posts about modding the stock cans for a PSE sound and I noticed that you had completed them on the 3.4 cans (i actually forgot that I did the same thing to my 3.4 cans as an experiment last year too!)....did you ever get to hear modded 3.6 cans? Maybe thats my answer without shelling out $2K for an OEM PSE.
It will probably come down to getting the OEM PSE, but it sure is more fun trying all these different exhausts along the way.

Will - no, I never did get to hear the modded 3.6 cans. The modded 3.6 cans are reported to be louder than the modded 3.4 cans, but I can not personally verify that statement.
I got the Dansk Super sound...and it sounds great....just a little deeper than a PSE....makes it sound more expensive...the fabspeed was to muscle car soundy for me...read a couple of bad things about GHL...so went for the Dansk and for $895...is is worth taking a risk.....remember they get a little louder when they have some miles on them....but they are by no means annoyingly loud! Sometimes I wished they were a little louder..
