Hi Guys, I am bidding on a set of AMG rims located in Deerfield, IL. I have an S500 in addition to the Porsche. The people on the MBZ sites are non-responsive and not as helpful as people here. If I win these rims, would someone be willing to go look at them for me? You guys are amazing. I seriously cannot tell you how happy I am that I found this online community, so thank you very much. The auction is on ebay and the pictures look like these rims are in new condition, but I want to be careful. I was burned once before by an ebay seller. The seller has them stored at his house and I find out at 8pm tonight if I have the high bid. I'll find out the exact location tonight or tomorrow and will let you know. Thanks again in advance.

Don't bid until the end. Only bid once. Open two Explorer windows with one showing the auction. In the other window, go to the auction and go through the bidding procedures except forthe last "confirm your bid" step. Put in the maximum amount that you are willing to pay. As the auction nears the last three minutes or so, constantly hit the refresh button in the auction window. Wait until there is about 12 seconds left and place your bid from the bid window, assuming your bid has not been exceeded. Also, you need to realize that someone else is probably doing the same thing. I probably shouldn't tell you this as I may now lose an auction to you in the future!
