Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OT or not, I'm curious - what do you guys make of the R8? http://www.autoblog.com/2006/09/27/p...o-the-audi-r8/ http://www.germancarblog.com/2006/09...-in-paris.html http://www.germancarblog.com/2006/09...-and-pics.html http://www.germancarblog.com/2006/09...r-desktop.html I have to say, it looks stunning. And I think Audi interiors are overrated, but it looks really sharp. And I fell in love with the V8 in the S4 - I bet this one's even better. Maybe in 10 years I'll be able to afford one Justin

POST 2Original post

I, Robot it's a street stunna. it's at 911 turbo levels and kills the 911 in looks interior and exterior. performance... we shall see.

POST 3Original post

Whoa - amazing.... I don't know about the colored side panels, though, seems like the plastic colored overlays on a cheap Dell laptop. Other than that, I want one!

POST 4Original post

I saw the concept couple of years ago, but this looks so much better, and if this is what the actual road version looks like, then Audi should have no problem getting buyers..Good looking car. A bit expensive though, 997 TT money, but slower..0-60 4.6 sec (found out from the link above), so it wont beat the TT. But good looking nonetheless.

POST 6Original post

Nice and it does remind me of I Robot, but I'm not too sure about that panel down the side of the car. The car is still good looking but not timeless like a Porsche.

POST 7Original post

Love that car. It's fantastic! Would I swap a Porsche TT for it? I don't think so but I much more prefer the Teutonic lines of the car relative to the Lambos.

POST 8Original post

Looks great!! I just hope Audi does not make the same mistake on this car they typically make on their other models......... Keep the weight DOWN Audi!!

POST 9Original post

I love the car and can't wait to see one in person.

POST 10Original post

I've just come back from the Paris Motor Show press day where the production version of the R8 was introduced as a world premiere and I have to admit I'm extremely impressed with the car. In one word, it looks fierce. The quality, both inside and outside, is top notch. The difference with a Lambo is particularly surprising, the Audi looking like a professionnal product where the Lambo looks like its homemade. I'm in love!
