Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys. I posted on the 993 forum a few months ago that I would be moving to Houston and looking for a Pcar. Well now I've arrived and after a lot of thinking and looking at the prices, I think a 996 would be much better for me than a 993. I don't think I can afford a 993 the way the prices are going! I'm looking for a 99/00 tip, preferably with low miles. I have spotted this for sale nearby: 2000 Porsche 911 CARRERA 4 COUPE $36,985 which is a nice looking motor and comes fully loaded but is at the absolute limit of my price range (maybe even a little above). Are these internet prices further negotiable? I have already got instrance lined up thanks to some good advice from rennlisters and have found a very friendly bank through my company so basically all I'm looking for is the right car! I would appreciate any advice on car buying techniques in the US - I'm new to all this as I have only bought cars for a fixed price before!
