I want to freshen up my car, and most of the road rash is taken by the hood and the front spoiler. I have a black aero I. Anyone know approx ballpark of what it should cost to have a quality shop prep and spray those two peices? Anyone ever done this? It seems 90% of the paint "wear" is in those areas and would make a big difference (especially for a black car). Brian

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'd say around $1000...assuming no bodywork is needed, just prep work and paint. Of course there are always places you can get it done cheaper but you take the risk of quality.
