Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know a good source for the front license plate hole-plugs? The ones on my 02 996 TT that I recently bought, show signs of the paint chipping/fading/not matching the bumper anymore. In fact, they look like they are simply plastic "pop-rivet" type plugs that were painted and inserted. When I went to my local dealer, I found that they sell unpainted plugs for something like $11 / plug. Is this what everyone does ? Buy factory plugs, have them painted ? Thanks, Andy
