Amigo's - On Saturday I received a Service Campaign for my 03 Targa - It reads: Porsche AG has decided that a defect and noncompliance relating to your motor vehicle safety existing in your 2003 996 - The FRONT SEATS BACKS posses a fault due to the manufacturing error do not meet the strength standards demanded by Porsche. In a rear-end collision, this can lead to the seat backs of occupied front seats tilting on one side to the rear, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant. You should arrange an appointment ASAP - the parts are in stock and will be expedited to your local dealership. The estimated time to perform this recall campaign is approximately two hours. A309 I contacted my local dealership and they currently have no knowledge of this Campaign as of yet. -
