So it's now been a bit over 2 months since I put PSE on my 04 C4S, and I'm never going back to stock. Love it and I still do the midnight runs through the LAX-MHB tunnel just to hear the roaring reverb. But I'm wondering what the heck to do with the stock exhaust? It's just sitting around taking up room in a packaged box, barely 200 miles put on it before putting in the PSE. What did the rest of you guys do with your old stock exhaust after putting on PSE?

I left them at the dealer. Did not want to take them because I knew they would just gather dust in the corner of my garage. No market for stock exhausts in Australia
keep it, before selling the car you might want to go stock
When I had PSE installed on my last Carrera, I kept the stock mufflers in case I didn't like PSE. 2 weeks later, I took them back to the dealer for disposal, bacause I knew I wouldn't go back to stock and the box was taking up too much room in my garage. When I had PSE installed on my current Carrera, the shop asked me what I wanted to do with the stock mufflers, and I told them to throw them out.
Surely there is a market for stock... ebay...
Tossed them. Too many available from other PSE adopters in the future if I ever need to put them back on for some reason...
There is no market for stock Porsche exhausts. I have different stock exhausts sitting all over my garage. I don't feel good about throwing them out but they are taking up so much space.
Do you have to remove the rear bumper sover to install the PSE?
Do you have to remove the rear bumper cover to install the PSE?
Keep it. You never know--the next potential buyer might prefer stock. Then you have a much more marketable aftermarket item to sell--your used PSE.
No need to remove rear bumper cover or wheels.
