So Friday I picked up my new 40th anniversary model--I had a c2 on order --but couldn't wait and for $5k more the 40th had a few more goodies on it. First impressions were WOW!!!!! I promised myself at 17 by the time I was 30 --I would own a Porsche--and I turned 30 this year and I'm fortunate to be in this position and with an understanding wife. I drove about 110 miles home from dealer and it was great. On saturday after getting used to it and showing it off for the family I started to see how this handles in the twisties. AWESOME I knew this car was going to be everything I expected but its even better. As you hit the apex squeeze the throttle and it just boogies thru the corner -NICE!!!! The only quibble I have is a small rattle from the left rear shelf (I think) -that means I drive with windows down and music up. I love the exhaust note but want it louder already. Im trying to keep under 4k but went over a couple of times--can't wait Ill post some pics tonight or tomorrow--but I couldn't be happier (well a GT3 would be nice) Mike
