Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I came across these Porsche stickers (magnets, actually) for cheap, and I'm just now trying them on. And I'm wondering if there are any opinions...? I know some won't like the wing on the back.... but that's not the point here, Sometimes, I think, Wow, that Porsche symbol really pops...... but then sometimes I wonder if it's too much... like I"m trying to look like a Ferrari or sompin... ...sorry about the crappy phone pics...

POST 2Original post

This is Rennlist so no sugarcoating here, so here it goes: The Scuderia shields look good on an F-car but they look like a wanna-be on a P-car.

POST 3Original post

I think it fits with the overall look you've got going with your car. On a stock 996, it may not go as well.

POST 8Original post

I actually like your wing and the Porsche badge.

No prob. They're magnetic, so they come off in 2 seconds, My girlfriend doesn't like them either, so they'll probably come off! Haha!!

POST 10Original post

Any chance the wing magnetic? Will the wing peel off as well? How about the rims? Kidding Had those on my car as well they didn't grow on me became garage door decorations. If you like them God bless, suggest you may want to place them a little higher on the fender, look a little low. Enjoy and don't pay attention to the grumpy old men who are going to hate the mods. What ever makes you happy, I mean your girlfriend!

POST 12Original post

Damn, you got one of those Ferrari 996's? Those are sweet! No. There's some clown driving around San Diego in a Miata with Corvette Grand Sport fender stripes. In OP's defense, it looks more stupid than the Ferrari stickers on a Porsche.

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Guys. I was just look for opinions, not slams. Well, we've heard from the old women - thanks Shelly

POST 14Original post

You talk a lot of smack for a dude who was already in the process of caving to his girlfriend and looking to the Internet for a hail mary save...at least the "old women" here don't need permission for car mods... Heh. Just giving you a little crap. You should sell those to Hurdi - he'd probably stick them on his trunk lid.

POST 15Original post

You know what they say about opinions: Opinions are like a$$holes. Everybody has one, and they all stink. Personally, I don't like the fender badge. It's too much.

POST 17Original post

Your car, your choice. Unless it's spatula. No spatula.

POST 19Original post

Not a fan. You can completely debadge it and everyone will still know it's a Porsche ! Love the wing though! More pics different angles?

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well - I think the votes are in - badges are off..... Got these free and I'd seen a couple of badged Caymans that looked ok, so....... They look killer fast on my refrigerator!!

Wrong forum, pal

POST 23Original post

They don't bother me really BUT would not put them on my car unless I was at the track or on the way to or from the track with all my Race numbers etc on the car.. Also don't give your GF an opinion on YOuR car.. Nuff said... I always feel that a Porsche doesn't need any badges at all.. They have such a distinct outline no one wonders "what kind of car is that" people just say "ooh look at that Porsche.."

POST 24Original post

Well, I am shopping for a speed yellow car, so I like the bling on the thing.

You still looking for a turbo, if so let me know I'll help you look.

POST 26Original post
