Some of you will remember that my car was impounded by the Sheriff for street racing. Now things have taken a strange turn. Called the impound lot today, they told me that Porsche had repossed my car????What!!!! Called Porsche Financial Services - Spoke to Amber - They said that they repoed the car because they don't want the impound yard putting a lein on the vehicle and selling it in case I did'nt pick it up. Fine!! They then tell me that they can't release the vehicle tomorrow 21st. because the Sheriff station told them they can't until the 23rd. Called the Sheriff station AND the first impound yard and both said 21st is the release date. Called PFS and Amber tells me that Sheriff station needs to fax something to them in writting that states the 21st. Called Sheriff Station and they told me that they have nothing to do with it anymore. The car was repo'ed according to their records and PFS can release the car to me anytime they want. Called PFS and told Amber what they said: Amber again refuse to make a simple phone call to Sheriff station and find out the TRUTH. And she just wont hear the FACTS!!! So I am stuck, made plans to go out of town tomorrow for 2 weeks and end up having to pay another 2 weeks of storage fees to Porsche's contracted lot. Peter

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Annoying, but why were you street racing?
Bummer!
NOONY: I WAS'NT STREET RACING. anyways, don't want to go into it again.. please read my earlier post about a month ago. Peter
Peter, does this Amber have a boss or manager? Did anything new happen to your case lately?
Oh, sorry about the chase in my sig I hope you didn't get flasbacks or something.
LOL Leon: I just spoke to her supervisor and she told me that there is nothing they can do because their agent down here in L.A. ( the people who have the car ) do not open on Saturdays, maybe that's why they have release date of 2/23 in their computer. At least I got a straight answer from the supervisor instead of me calling around to everyone like a madman trying to get the car out tomorrow. I guess I'll have to deal with it after I get back from my trip. Anyways, nothing new in the case, just waiting for March 23rd court date. Decided on a lawyer and he seems to know what he is talking about. www.ellison-law.com he was referred to me by that radar lawyer everyone seem to point to when I asked around. Peter
Beurocratic crap! Man it pi*sses me off reading that. People get a kick out of being difficult. If people were more considerate and helpful the world would be a better place. Sure is a bummer Peter.
Really sorry to hear that. Drop me an e-mail when you return from your trip. I have the license plate frame for you in my car, just waiting for you.
Hey Charles: Thanks, I'll be sure to give you a call when I get back. Peter
all the best in getting your porker out of jail and good luck with your case please let us know the outcome as i am sure we could all learn from your experience!
Quite the pickle you got yourself into... Perhaps this lawyer may have more expertise than ellison who is a criminal lawyer? http://www.stantheradarman.com/
MJones: That's the lawyer that refer me to Ellison. Apparently, this is more serious of a charge then he usually handles. Peter Liao
