Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking at trading my car in for an 01 or 02 TT if the right deal presents itself. I am trying to figure what my car is worth on trade. 02 sport lea. seats, technics package, Car 18s, psm, cd, heated seats, less than 8000 miles, never seen a winter, and if i treated it any better i would have to pay it alimony after the trade. what do you guys think i should negotiate for on trade and what is a good price on an 01 or 02 TT. thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Be sitting down when a dealer gives you a number, it will always be less than you think your car is worth, for they are dealing in wholesale values. You can do a Kelly BB estimate, but the dealer KBB value will be less than the (consumer) trade in KBB value. The KBB service dealers use is not the consumer version on line. Remember this a dealer is in business to make money, no matter how nice that they seem. If you are leasing a vehicle, you can squeeze a better deal because dealers get "back end money" on leases
