Heelo, is it possible ? I came across a nice priced brand new hollow spoke wheels for my car, but dont like the chrome look of it... Is it possible to paint to silver normal color ? Thanks in advance!!! Conrado

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

sure, you can paint them. you can paint over the chrome paint just like any other paint as long as it's prepped correctly. the cleanest approach would be to sandblast off the chrome paint and start from the bare metal.
Are they chrome-plated or painted with chrome-like glossy paint? If it is the latter, the paint must be stripped before repainting with another color. If they are chrome plated, you may be out of luck. The plating is very difficult to strip with a good smooth surface beneath.
But why paint it at all....The chrome look is not that bad, is it ??
It is the OEM High Gloss finish... I want to paint them because I cant stand the chrome finish... it looks, well, I just would never ride a car with chrome wheels, but thats just me... Thanks! Conrado
Haha....dont worry, I dont have the Chrome finish wheels. I just dont think they are that bad. Happy Painting :-)
