Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just wanted to say hello to all members... Purchased an 03 911 C2 last week (1st Porsche) and loving every minute behind the wheel.. Just ordered the B&M shifter and need to pick an exhuast... Should I go with Fabspeed or other? Thanks Zubunure PS - Any S.Florida members around

POST 2Original post

FWIW I love my Fabspeed , great sound and a good price with super service to boot. Anyway, do a search on exhausts on this site and spend the next 3 hrs reading everyones opinion

POST 3Original post

Congrats and enjoy! On the exhaust question, you'll get many opinions--do a search. I've had Porsche sport exhaust (PSE) on my last 2 Carreras and love it. I just had the mufflers installed, since I never want to turn it off...and I hardly listen to my stereo...

POST 4Original post

if you take $ out of the equation. PSE is the best IMHO. no drone, not too loud, but loud enough, even the aircooled diehards love the sound. it doesn't rob power at any rpm and has no "dead" spot on torque curve. i think gert at carnewal sells them (site sponsor). you don't need any of the electronics to be hooked up. just the exhaust.

POST 5Original post

Welcome....there's a few of us up here in Delray Beach! Enjoy the ride! M-

POST 6Original post

zubunure, congratulations and welcome to RENNLIST. We all would like to see pics asap BTW, I've had Fabspeeds on my last 3 Porsches and think they are absolutely "fabulous" Easy to install and 40 lbs lighter than stock. I think the PSE system weighs more. I will list Naples as home shortly, but I guess that is classified as Southwest Florida. I guess you guys over in Dade are big time!

POST 8Original post

I love my PSE and everyone who hears my car instantly comments on how great it sounds. But a lot of folks have fabspeeds and love them as well. You really ought to listen to both of them if you can and decide which you like better. Someone has a web site with audio files online with the sounds of most of the exhaust systems. Does anyone have the URL to that site for zubunure?

POST 9Original post

Here you go: http://www.paulto.com/porsche-exhaust-sounds.html But none of these sounds do justice to hearing them for real.

POST 10Original post

Theres no possibility of warranty issues with the PSE DonnyJ
