Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK OK its a slow night at home and i was curious to know, how many of Porsche owners ride bikes too? Her is a pic of mine beside my New Winter car....with good snow tires anything is good

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ok now here is the pic............i suck at the internet

POST 3Original post

yup, i do too. i also have a bmw k1200ltc. i also, for the last 15 years, have been flying a multiengine airplane.

POST 4Original post

Just sold my CBR600F4i. Wasn't riding it enough. I love it on the track but grew to feel uncomfortable on the road. Looking to get a cheaper 'track' bike eventually. I miss it.

POST 6Original post

'97 BMW K1200RS and '03 Ducati 749S... Waiting for mfg of '04 Cobalt Blue GT3 in Apr'04. Regards

POST 7Original post

Yep, me as well - that is when I'm not either falling off or having some bonehead open their car door in front of me. I have a 600 Suzuki Bandit. Not quite in the "Superbike" league, but fast enough for an old fart like me, especially if you were weaned on AJS and Royal Enfield 500 twins. At least the oil stays in the sump!

POST 8Original post

Yep, BMW R1100S (1999), BMW R25 (1951), Horex Regina (1951), NSU Max (1954) and about half a dozen more ... Cheers, Uwe

POST 9Original post

no bike for me. the way i drive a car, if i was on a bike i'd be dead inside a month!

POST 10Original post

My version of 2-wheeled adreniline...titanium frame, 14 & 16 spoke aero wheels, approx 17 lbs.

POST 11Original post

Sorry RedCab... I might have buzzed u and other cyclists up on skyline road.......didnt mean any harm though!!!!! heres my 2wheeled Beauty....hence the reason behind my screen name too!

POST 12Original post

Senna - your MV is sweet...is the black paint standard for the Senna version?!? The Cagiva with the Ducati look is pretty sweet as well!! Nice toys

POST 13Original post

Yep....thats more of a charcoal/dark metallic grey-graphite color. They only made 300 of this bike worldwide, and ive got number 68 !!! The Cagiva is a euro-only street bike with a 125cc two-stroke motor...believe it or not, it goes 110mph in 7th gear! The MV Agusta, now thats FASSSST last pic....sorry guys and gals, couldnt help it!

POST 14Original post

Here is mine... in the middle of customizing it... so it looks awful... the monster of Frankenstein...

POST 15Original post

I've ridden street bikes, but for me, motocross is where its at. There's nothing else like it. I used to be a serious racer, but now I do it for fun only. I love two strokes, the power bands are excellent! Speaking of 2 strokes, Senna - I love that Cagiva 125. How much does it weigh?

POST 16Original post

DP- The Cagiva weighs in at 229 lbs wet. It only makes 33bhp, but man when it hits the pipe...its such a blast. Thats life between 10-11,000 rpm Do you live out by ClubMoto in Livermore??? Ive ridden my CR125 out there before....pretty intense...! Dirtbikes are fun, but my 33 yearold bones are starting to lemme know that I'm not 16 anymore

POST 17Original post

Motorcycles are my 1st addiction. Current ride for the street/track '02 Honda RC51 for the dirt '03 Honda CR250R.

POST 18Original post

Yup, gots me a '04 BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Replika over here.. just got it this past summer and it's the first bike I've had in about 10 years.... Now sits waiting for spring..... trev

POST 19Original post

Good choice....GREAT bike, very comfortable and capable in the twisties.....if I HAD to buy a BMW, it would be a Bimmer Motorcycle!!!

POST 20Original post

Ok, here is my third addiction besides the superbikes and Porsches...

POST 21Original post

Carlos, I can not believe there is no dirt in Spain. Please go find some and post another pic. Very nice ride. Cheers!

POST 22Original post

Wow, I feel inadequate... Hmmm... Here are some bikes in my long journey... doesn't count all... http://community.webshots.com/script...bumID=92282243 BTW.. Is anybody planning to go to Daytona in March 04 for Daytona 200 & 4 Bs (Biker babes, ***** & butts). They also have stadium races same week. I'm planning on taking my ninty seven fifty from SF.

POST 24Original post

Yeah Senna, I've ridden Club Moto hundreds of times, all the other NorCal tracks too. I know what you mean about getting older, but its all in your head. Sometimes I take a few laps to warm up, but my 38 year old bones can still handle it just fine. But you're right, we aren't 16 any more, just have to ride smarter now.

POST 25Original post

yeah, those are the "before" pics, I should have taken the "after" pics

POST 26Original post

Well, i used to have a GSX-1100-R (1994) but then i had a major accident (on a V-Max Yamaha) so i sold the GSX.. No regrets... Back in Lagos, I used to take turns on the R1 pictured below, and my carrera used to mimic bikes somehow, among the sunday bikers there! ..Good times to remember! Waz

POST 27Original post

I rode motorcycles in my 20's, then had a family. Now that they are older I'm back at it with a 2003 HD Electra glide Classic. The deep blue color goes very nicely with my Lapis blue 996 C2! Forget the "mid-life crisis" - I'm having a mid-life blast!

POST 28Original post

#**?&%%?#*%% I can't work the link, sorry... I'll try again.

POST 29Original post

Strange lack of Harley owners, I would have thought there'd be more... Right now I have a '98 Buell S1 White Lightning and an '01 Honda Shadow A.C.E. (for carting the wife around on those nice Summer days) Since I bought the go-fast car on Halloween this year, I don't really feel the need for a go-fast bike anymore. I'll be selling the Buell AND Honda and getting a Fatboy. Probably in the Spring...

POST 30Original post

Mine's a Harley, but with this group I expect to get flamed for it. TS, I enjoy cruising the back roads and mountain passes with "old lumpy".

POST 34Original post

Well, IMO those sport vs Harley flammers should ride what they like and leave everybody else alone, its the same even b/w sportbike manufacturers , they can go and...

POST 35Original post

Well I did notice the guy taking the **** didn't have the sack to have his face in the picture..........................Sure would love to have him come to bike week in Laconia some time, or Sturgis would work just fine too. I mean it, really man, all I wanna do is buy him a beer................and get him shootin his mouth off.................

POST 36 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
