Hi, I'm taking my PSE off my 2003 C2 Cab, and intend to put it on my new 40th anniversary 911, which has the X51 option. There is no reason why I can't do this, right? The stock X51 exhaust is just the regular 996 exhaust, yes? Thanks
The PSE will work fine with an X51. Exhaust (mufflers) is not part of the X51 package.
Although Porsche officially claim there is no increase in power with the PSE..you would think that a PSE with the X51 would give you a slight HP increase ? ThunderC4S
I just put PSE on my 40th. Couldn't hear difference on the way home so thinking it's not on correctly. On your C4S was on/off switch difference huge or what?
Hi, It was on a C2, and I never hooked up any electronics. On all the time, and not subtle. You would notice it if is was working properly. Only other thought, is the stock 40th exhaust something special, that is, louder than normal? By the way, as you see from above, I have an interest in the 40th, how do you like it? Mine came in today.
