Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm contemplating the GHL w/o the tips. I know there are a bunch of different tip possibilities. I have looked around for pictures and haven't found many pictures with the tips installed. Please post a picture of your tips so I can get a feeling for the options. I'll start off with a picture of what I have now: Your help is appreciated in advance!

How much do you want to spend? You can polish your stock tips with '000-0000 steel wool and metal polish and they will look very nice IMO. This would be the least expensive option. Big factory tips will cost $500-600, very nice and also very expensive. Otherwise I would consider a set of the GLH tips with the mufflers, seems like a pretty good deal, though I havn't seen them in person.

Not sure if this helps or not, but here are the factory 4-pipe tips...

those tips are different and don't fit the 99-01 bumpers or mufflers correctly I am told. Best option is to get the optional larger tips. The stock ones look too puny.

I kind of like the symmetry of the single outlet

I have PSM with stainless tips - local shop cut off the old ones for me and grafted on the new ones
