Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, Newbie here, wanted your opinion. What do you all think of this deal: 03 C4S seal grey/blk, appx 3000mi PSE Bose heated seats full leather $78,000 w/ my trade 03 midnight blue Box $37,000 Thanks in advance, Rerun

POST 2Original post

I got my 02 about a year ago with the same mileage and more options for 75K. But the dealer cost was 78K (they know me ), so your price seems pretty fair. Maybe you could bargain a bit. Either way, you won't regret it...the C4S rules!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What other options did you have? BTW, I omitted xenons, stainless steel exhausts, and CD changer to the option list above. And I agree, the C4S rocks.

POST 4Original post

As I recall, full leather was not an option but was standard on the C4S. Otherwise, it's got the important options. It's a low mileage car, and if your Boxster is faily standard they are giving you a good price for it, so it seems to be a good deal. Can't hurt to start low and bargain a bit, though.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, you're right full leather is standard. How much lower should I offer? BTW sticker on my Box was $50,395.

POST 7Original post

I found an 02 with 20k miles and all options except nav for $72k. Is it good deal? Thanks.

POST 8Original post

samel00 go to expomotorcars.com there is an 02 black/tan c4s, bose, PCM (Nav), heated seats, xenons 14k, $71k (you could probably get it for 70 or a little less) I got my car from these guys, they were great to deal with...

POST 9Original post

I just bought a 2003 C4S silver/grey. Tiptronic, xenon lights, full leather supple, heated seats, polished stainless exaust tips, 6 CD changer, Bose radio, C4S door sills, dials painted to match interior, I can't think what else. $79,000. 4,700 miles. If yours doesn't have Tip or Xenons, bargain for more off. Those two items cost around $5,000 when car was purchased in March, with no discount. I

POST 10Original post

The one I saw is a TIP and has Xenon and it is certified with 100k mile warranty. It is a CA car.
