shifter is off a 2004 996gt3. "redridge" just took it off the mkt.

That's indeed a great price for the whole assembly. I got a regular 997 shifter that I am currently doing the swap with my old 996 shifter. I am having a little bit of a problem with the cable detachment from the old shifter but hopefully I can get by that soon. If not I will start a new thread to request some help from this expert group. Cheers,

shifter throw is MUCH shorter. tighter, more precise. i like it. but i have had seven 996gt3's, and bought a LOT of parts, at times i have more inventory than most small shops. every so often i find parts in my storage that i have no use for... so i sell them off. i just posted a bunch of stuff taken off from a variety of GT3
