Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

One of the better photoshopped possibilities. I like the rear 993-esque taile light treatment.

POST 3Original post

These are C4S pix from the Porsche website, photoshoped.

POST 4Original post

the first was done from a C2coupe original pic the second was a C4s originally

POST 5Original post

I like the air scoop on the hood. It gives the car a more aggressive and more "Porsche-like" look.

POST 6Original post

Very nice... It looks clean! Thats what they should have done from the get go!

POST 7Original post

Front end is too mundane and blaah. Needs to jazz up. Better head lights maybe ?

POST 8Original post

Very well done! Little bit more accent on the fogs in front and a bit more 996ish tail lights and you've got the 997 IMHO.

POST 9Original post

I like the headlights but not the hood opening.

POST 10Original post

Why? It's been on every 911 except the 996. Our hoods look very plain without it.

POST 11Original post

I hate those photoshopped taillights. Too retro. Too narrow. I hope they move in the direction of the larger tail lights from the WB vehicles even over something of a similar size to the narrowbody taillights. The front end looks quite nice with the hood scoop, I hope they go with the retro look on that.

POST 12Original post

That would be killer if they produced it! The hoodscoop is a must. I thought that was one of the best styling cues that made the "911 look". I also prefer the rear tail light strip. Another cue that has really made t he 911 look over the years that didnt need to be replaced. I like those headlights too, and the turnsignals. The intake is growing on me the more i look at it too. Basically a 996 with the traditional cues tacked on would be the best 911 so far in my opinion.

POST 14Original post

That hood opening is nice, but seems like it would add drag.

POST 15Original post

True, I guess it was just the space between the headlights that seemed odd/out of place.
