Hi there has anyone priced a 40th? My dealer wants MSRP, I'm thinking it should be lower. Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

It should be higher if you added all the same extras to a stock C2 your probably looking at $2000 more...thats not including the slip diff, turbo style front end etc. It is a highly specd car for the price. Donny J
Thanks Donny, I agree but I would still like a discount.
"My dealer wants MSRP, I'm thinking it should be lower." Take a look at the price of the 2000 911 Millinium edition (of which they only made 911 instead of the 196x 40ths) relative to it's MSRP and/or the now price to MSRP of a similarly priced regular 2000 911. Translation, the 40th will depreciate just as fast as the regular 996 and you should be seeking the same discount to MSRP you would on a regular one.
