Got a policy that came with the car through reliable and it has the verbiage only internal oiled parts etc ie not covering our little friend. Car has 72 k on it but only 22K on motor that has been in there since 04 (not driven much of course hence a bit of worry). I can cash out the policy (only a one year policy) and just have the rms (is seeping a bit) and bearing switched out . PPI was good all around Thoughts

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I would switch out IMS, fix RMS and keep the warranty. Also see if it needs a clutch while in there. Oh and don't forget to post pics.
I have a warranty and just paid to have the "Big 5" done on my own dime: IMSB AOS RMS Clutch Water pump I prefer preventative maintenance rather than fighting with a warranty claim on a blown up car after the fact. I'll let the warranty cover things now that the basics have been refreshed.
