Please do not get me wrong on this -- I have to tell you that I love the forums - and the help and insight they provide -- not to mention that my typing is getting much better. My only point is that so often people look to some complex formula to try to figure the world out when actually it is just as it is. I am SURE that all involved in motor fuel delivery are doing the best they can to max the profit and min the cost to them. This will result in the price rising more quickly and falling slower . But the system is just too large to really play with it. I would go along with the idea that you could manipulate almost any industry except this one -- it really is just too complex. I own a transportation company - so fuel costs make a big difference to me .. I must say that I loved the .95 gas 3 - 4 years ago. But it could not last - OPEC could not make what they needed - and really no one else could make the extra .01 that must be in the system. I think that in some markets maybe large suppliers can hit the consumer for something -- I do not what that would be but I am sure that it is what ever they can get. But I also know that every time the price goes up -- the secretary of whatever gets involved -- they always report back that it was just market forces at work. The thing that I personally always go back to in my own mind is that we must be thankful for the system we have -- The US has the most efficient energy delivery system in the world and it has allowed us to prosper in ways that the rest of the world can only peek over the fence at.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
