http://hobbystage.net/porsche/itzkirb/ Just got my Seal Gray Coupe tinted with Huper Optik Ceramic 50% Tint. Unlike other tints that contain metal in them this one has none and will allow GPS and Radar Detectors to work like normal. What do you guys (&Gals) think?
Kirby, Looks great. Where in the bay area did you take your C2 for tinting? Also, do mind telling me what the tinting job cost? Also, is the 50% legal in California? Thanks.
jbettenc I had the work done at Auto Mall Window Tinting in Fremont. I was told by a police buddy of mine that 70% was legal in CA, but in the Huper Optik the lightest they had was 50%. I suggest you just give them a call for a quote, [phone removed]. Sidney did the work on my car and he did a really good job, very professional and helpful with my questions. On a side note...The tint in the picture actually looks a little darker than it really is. I've tried to get a accurate picture, but it always seems to come out darker.
