Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is the price what the dealer's asking without any negotiations? If so, be aggressive -- try starting at invoice or even slightly below. You ought to be able to get at least $7,500 or better off of invoice when all's said and done. Good luck!
I would think $5k-10k off the price should be a good deal.
Check out kbb.com for invoice price. I ran it with the options you listed and the invoice is $64649. http://kbb.com/kb/ki.dll/kw.kc.cp?kb...0Coupe%202D%20 (6-Spd.)&nyrnc So offer $1-2k over that and they'll accept it immediately, offer less and you can exercise your bargaining skills. Also search for the recent topic "advice needed on art of the deal". You won't find better negotiating advice anywhere. Good luck, you are in control of the situation. Post pics when you close the deal! cJm Hotlanta ---'03 C2
I agree completely, I would bet you could get one at invoice. Once the 04's are on the lot you should not take more than under invoice as since the car market is terrible right now, the 04's will probably be sold for 1-3k over invoice. Each model year is worth about $5-6k more, putting the price for the 03 at $5-6k cheaper than a like 04. However, don't forget if leasing or balloon financing, residuals will be much higher on 04's -Lou
cJm... I have searched for this topic and can not find this. Can someone please explain how to find and search the archives?? perhaps it will be in there. thanks.
I'm not expert on searches, but I found the topic "art of the deal" by searching under topics my username, cjm
thank you
Any update on your progress? You got me thinking ... so I made a few calls. It was almost immediate that they were offering 1500 over invoice. Not a bad starting place!
Thanks for all your great posts....still evaluting the car...trying to see if I can deal with the sports seats or trade them out at this point.....7K disc at this point yet still some room for dealing...i want to get down to 65K from MSRP of 74K...Thanks cJm for his post on the invoice price with options I got close to the same on Kbb....so I am shooting for close to that figure...the 04's are pouring onto the lots now and August 1 is very close....
Thanks for all your great comments,,,any other suggestions to help lower price.....may wish to opt out sport seats too hard and small for me-cuts across my shoulders too much.....end of the month here and lots of clearance sales being advertised and 04's all over now...
