At 10pm Friday ET and 2AM Sat. ET on the History channel a great one hour long show on the Autobahn. Don't miss the 212mph RUF certification of a twin turbo at night no less! If all fellow porsche drivers had it so nice, achtung you left lane slugs! I wish I could drive like that legally.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

thanks for the reminder, wow! 212mph tt I am not going to miss that.
Seen it! I've been waiting to TiVo it. Makes you want to move to Germany.
Being a confirmed porsche follower and owner I also had been waiting for three other fantastic shows that I had seen before to pop up again on A&E and Speed channel so I could tape them. 1)The Biography of Ferdinand Porsche(A&E), 2) Victory by Design-History of Porsche Racing(Speed Channel) and 3)The 911 Story/Automotive History Series(History Channel). I now have them all and really enjoy watching them again and again. If I see them I'll let you all know, they show a couple times a year. If you can't wait I know the Porsche bio and 911 show on history are for sale at $24.95 on their web site. May the porsche be with you!!
I lived in Germany in the early 70's and in those days you could really open up on the Autobahn. I get back atleast once a year to visit my wife's family and these days the Autobahn isn't what it used to be (at least the routes I drive). There are so many more cars on the road now days and frequent traffic jams on the Autobahn. With the opening of Eastern Europe, there are many slow moving cars of questionable capabilities on the road, which can often be quite dangerous if you're moving fast. Still when the road is not jammed and the weather is good and there are no speed restrictions is can be quite fun. I actually like some of the empty twisty country roads, but you have to watch out for slow moving tractors.
