Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know when Porsche is going to make a change? I am thinking about buying a new Porsche but I don't want it to be outdated next year. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Likely to be introduced in the fall of '04 as an '05 model.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do you know if the change is going to be drastic? Any spy shots? I heard the new body style is going to look like the C4S except that it will be 2 wheel drive. Can you confrim this? Thanks

POST 4Original post

So far, the spy shots flying around are showing a largely 996 body with slightly wider fenders. It is likely that the new car design is evolutionary rather than revolutionary. As to the drivetrain, in typical Porsche fashion of more than ten years, expect to see both 2WD and AWD versions of the new model.
