Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Anyone in the Northern VA or MD area that has ROW M030 suspension available to get together so that I may compare the diff between this and the standard suspension on my C2? I'll buy the coffee if a meet at a local Starbucks is in order Big spender that I am. I am seriously considering upgrading my suspension but want to make sure I can live with the stiffer ride. Thanks, Gary Myersville, MD 18" Turbo Look Wheels Pirelli PZero N4 PSE (no switch)

POST 2Original post

I have a 99 C2 with the M030. While I am in SF now, I will be back in NoVa for next week only. Let me know if that works for you and we will see if we can find a time convenient for both of us.

QB]

IMHO, the change in ride quality is minimal. The 996 has a short wheelbase to begin with, coupled with a rear weight bias, the ride is choppy no matter what. I had a Bimmer with a far stiffer suspension that rode smoother than a stock 996. The difference in wheelbase and weight distribution had a lot to do with it.

I live in NoVa too, have also been thinking about the upgrade, and would love to join this test. I'm good for muffins!

STRSHP, Will your stay back here next week include the weekend, I am available either SAT or SUN. Let me know when and where and I can be there. I would be driving in from the NW (Frederick area). Ed996, Are you available on the weekend as well? Rob, Thanks for your insight on the suspension. Did you upgrade from a standard suspension to the ROW M030, and if so are you saying the ride quality did not change? Gary Myersville, MD 18" Turbo Look Wheels Pirelli PZero N4 PSE (no switch)

The difference in ride quality *to me* was not great. i did get a chance to ride in a car with the H&R/Bilstein coilovers and noticed more degradation--but it was still acceptable. If anyone in So. CA is on the fence about doing the RoW M030 and hasn't riden in one or wants to compare ride height, etc. we can arrange to meet at my office.

I just got back from Andial where I had Row M030 and Fabspeed exhaust headers installed. I definitely feel the difference between regular and 030 suspension! The ride stiffness is not very noticeable, but the car handles much better. I'm as happy as can be with both mods!

I've got the US M030 on my car..plus hoosier autocross tires....you're welcome to take a ride with me at the next autocross..FedEx field on June 20th.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Jim, The offer of the ride at the autocross sounds like a deal too good to miss. I would like to take you up on the offer. I have not been to Fed Ex field is there any particular entrance area I need to access to get to the event? How will I know how to locate you, or should I just look for the 02 Arctic Silver in the winners circle Gary
