Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all. I have a '99 C2 coupe and After sitting around for the last few months I took her out today and the cruise control light is behaving strangely. With the switch in the stalk in the off position the cruise light will come on when I first apply the brakes. Just before coming to a complete stop the light goes out. I have tried the cruise and it seems to be functining correctly. Any ideas what is causing this?

POST 2Original post

Tim, I don't have the heart to discuss this - tell him about the "little green circle"

POST 3Original post

^ roflmao: Phil, I can totally understand your lack of desire to discuss any topic associated with a "little green circle!"

POST 4Original post

I have never heard of those symptoms before today. It could be a faulty connection in the stalk or a problem in he gauge cluster. Hopefully someone else can chime in here with some better suggestions.

POST 5Original post

Check the switches and connection above BOTH the clutch and brake pedals.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I wish it were as simple as "little green circle". I drove the car into work today and uppon arriving in the parking lot I was greeted with a flat tire...I think this is going to be an expensive week.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all. You learn something new everyday. I appears that the flat tire was cauing the cruise control light issue. With a new set of tires the light is now behaving the way it should. I guess the different rotational speeds were throwing off the cruise computer.

Maybe the "little green circle" is really just an icon of a tire! Glad you got it taken care of.

I love it! I knew Phil would take some grief somewhere in this thread.
