I'm renting the full track at Buttonwillow on Monday July 14th and I have a few openings for additional people. I have about 10 people so far and I'd like to get about 15 total. I figured I'd open up the offer to you guys because everyone here seems pretty responsible. I've done a few track days before and it gets a little crowded so I thought that renting the track for a small group of responsible people would be a lot more fun. So far, the group consists of friends of mine that will include such cars as my '99 996, a C5 Vette, an E46 SMG-II M3, a, '88 911, a WRX, a Datsun 510, etc. The total cost will be $3300/(the number of people). If we get 15, the cost will be about $220. If you're interested, drop me an email ([email removed]) and then I'll give you the confirmation. I'll want to get $220 PayPal'd to me before hand and then the remainder cost (if any) will be calculated based on how many people we end up with and you can pay me at the event. This will be my first track event with the Porsche. I've done some with my E36 M3 and my Miata. I'm really looking forward to it because, as you know, it can be difficult to approach the limits of our cars on the street. By the way, the people that will be participating are very responsible and friendly people. We all have to drive our cars home so it will be a very low-key and courteous event. This would be a good way to do your first track day because there will be tons of open space on such a big track with only 15 people. Please let me know ASAP if you're interested. It's only 2 weeks away! Thanks, Jake

Interesting, did you do shocks when you did your springs? If not does that thing pogo like hell? I would be interested to know. what mileage and stock susp. also did you have, m030. I have the tech art springs here and was going to put them in, but after much research and the threshold that I drive at, I was told that I would hate them as they are underdamped and that I should moreso than anyone else get coilovers. Thanks. Nice bike btw do undertail yet?

It's not too bouncy but I will eventually put coliovers on because, IMHO, they are the best setup for almost any sports car. The comfort level is too subjective to describe but I drove it to Monterey with my wife and a 2 month old without any complaints. I do have a fender eliminator but no undertail. Love the bike. Not enough time to ride it though. Thanks!
neat. Well I guess you will find out if you think it is underdamped at the track! Bring the bike that would be pretty fun there I am sure if your group will allow it.
