Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All the new GT3 owners should get together and organize a group purchase to buy the GT3 seats, harness and roll bar in their cars. Of course, since this is Rennlist, we should include all Porsche owners with an interest in this upgrade. I just put the above stuff in my GT 2 and it feels like a go-kart. I'll volunteer to organize the list, do the negotiaion, gain acceptance of the price (from those interested) or let anyone else who wants to do it. Since this is a large purchase for some, I propose a cut-off date of October 31 2003 to finalize quantities and allow some planning time (no extensions and no back out ,period). As a consequence, some GT 3 owners may finish up with seats before they get a car. Is this a good idea?, If you want in private email me your details. You can also suggest a target price, but be realistic, and we'll give Gert our sponsor first crack, but if he is not aggresive enough, he may not get last look.

Just remember the local group when it comes time to put it in. Might be a good subject for a DIYer DVD. Jeff <img src="http://www.986host.com/albums/ToolPants/B_M_at_Henry_6_8_003.sized.jpg" alt=" - " />

Uh... board sponsor Carnewal.com already has that package. Check it out!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Loren, Yes I am aware, I already referred to Gert (Carnewal), but a large group might do somewhat better on price. Do we just accept a posted price and assume it's a good deal?. I am all for supporting sponsors of this site, I had hoped that I made that clear. Maybe Gert could come back with a price that would "induce" us not to even bother shopping around; provided that there were some minimum number of participants to make it worth while for him as well. I'll contact him privately when the time is right. That would demonstrate the power of Rennlist...only members could participate (?). Caveat Emptor! Tool Pants, It would make a DIYer DVD, I understand they are tricky to install.

POST 7Original post

How about those thick GT3 steering wheels. Can we ad that to the list?

POST 8Original post
