Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I've had my car a couple of months and have driven it a couple thousand miles. A few observations. - mpg's average 20 - very comfortable on short and long trips - comfortable but firm suspension. No jarring expansion joints - space and fronk have been surprisingly adequate - radio reception is pretty bad, but PSE makes up for it - PSE is addictive - being able to drop/raise the top while moving is very convenient and cool - driving it is really fun and I look forward to it. I'm always looking for a quick errand to run - ergonomics and interior storage is very good - I want to learn to drive it better - DE's this summer - it has some rattles and odd engine noises here and there, but it's very solid and tight overall. - regular service is less scary than I thought it would be - it's very dependable and we'll built car - it's meant to be driven spiritedly and I love the 3k-5k rpm range This was just a quick list I put together. I'm sure there's a bunch more. Please feel free to add or comment.

You are right adcampo, PSE is addictive. My Turbo sound like a honda in comparison. 2002 Turbo - Basalt Black Metallic / 2003 Carrera 4S - Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 - Rust Red

Mine has PSE and I love it. The stereo is sort of okay, even though it is the Bose upgrade. I have yet to mind since the engine sounds that good.

totally agree. The premium Bose sound in the '03 C4S sucks compared to the non-Most Bose in my 2002 Turbo. Not sure why. Never use the sound system anyhow, why would you when driving such a car?? 2002 Turbo - Basalt Black Metallic / 2003 Carrera 4S - Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 - Rust Red

I have the upgraded Bose as well and the reception is horrible. CD's sound OK but if I was ever fortunate enough to be ordering a 911 new I think I'd opt for whatever comes standard and upgrade with something aftermarket. Once I get some spare funds I'd like to get the FisterD exhaust and listen to that.
