I know it is typical to move the AC to the lower slot of the lower console with a new bezel. Can you move it to the upper slot of the lower console? I'm thinking of mounting an old iPhone 4S in that top slot. I know the ultimate is to slap an iPad mini in the top two console slots but was thinking this was the poor man's version for pandora, nav, lap timer, etc. Would I also need some sort of bezel for the AC control in the top slot of the lower console? Worse case I could throw the iPhone in the top slot of the bottom console but it would be easier to see if it were on top. Thanks

I've seen it done before, so yes you can. I'm not sure where you would find the bezel though - you may have to fabricate one.

I just checked it out and the stock top bezel is a pretty good fit for the top slot in the bottom bezel with the exception of the top lip. Not a big deal. However, I'm not seeing anything to screw the AC unit to.
