Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, An introduction to my 2004 996 C4S. 27K miles Fabspeed Muffler Bypass (new - love the sound) - one thing though. Wasn't thrilled with needing to order the O2 extenders - an additional $200. Anyone else have to do this? ECU tuned A really great car. The wheels and decal are new - last 2 weeks. The wheels are not black as the picture dictates. They have a silver undercoat that gives the wheels more of a grey-ish look - almost 3d with the black and silver. Hard to explain unless you're looking at them. I'm considering doing xcats, headlight conversion, side markers, Techart type III wing (not sure about this), and dash conversion to white dials. It's just fun thinking of things to do...heh

POST 2Original post

Congratulations - beautiful car! Where did you get the side decal?

POST 3Original post

Welcome and congratulations 996C4s Looks like you got a great low mile example. Post a few more pictures when you get a chance.

POST 4Original post

Great color combo esp. with the black wheels, looks great... The decal is cool too, makes your car stands out, nice. Cheers,

POST 5Original post

Very nice car. Personally I would take the decal off and swap out the amber corner lights to clear, or smoked. Enjoy it!

POST 6Original post

Very nice!! +1 on removing the amber for clear side marker lights.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had the car for 4.5 years. The decal is new and I love it. I like different, and I believe it adds an element of that. I'm switching out to clear/led side markers today actually. I'll post an update for comparison. Thanks for the positive posts!

POST 8Original post

What part of Texas are you in? Would like to see the contrast from your previous look. Can you post a "before" pic to compare the two?

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Krazyk - I'm in Frisco. I'll have to find a before pic. I think I have one somewhere.
