Pulled the trigger on a new Macan S. Will be delivered around end of September so it would seem that Porsche have a successful launch on these new cars with that kind of wait already! The Cayenne has been absolutely trouble free and just a great all around vehicle but the wife wanted something a little smaller. The only real concern that i have is that she will be scared silly the first time she puts her foot into the gas pedal. I haven't told her the stats and don't intend to! If she is overwhelmed, I'll let her drive my Merc and take the Macan away!!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I saw the Macan a few weeks ago at Amelia Island and was seriously impressed. We are waiting till the end of the year to let them out shake out a bit then will probably bring one home for the wife. And I agree...the word turbo will not be mentioned to her.
Strong work! We considered it as a replacement for our Cayenne S, but we winded up ordering an Audi SQ5. I should have it the week of 4/7.
Congrats. The Macan is a looker and from what I read it will go down the road pretty quick! How is your retailer handling the trade since the new car won't be in for 6 months? Do you need to give up the Cayenne and have the trade allowance go into "escrow" to apply it toward the purchase or are they allowing you to keep the trade and work the numbers when the Macan arrives?
The dealer is letting me keep the Cayenne till the Macan arrives and we will work the final numbers then. She puts about 1200 miles a month commuting to work so another 7000 miles on the odometer versus the convenience of her driving it is worth keeping it for now.
