Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

"Between June 1999 and December 2000, Porsche built 1856 first-generation GT3s. Through mid-2004 when production of the new GT3 at the Zuffenhausen facility ends, the target is 3000 cars, 750 of which are bound for North America. All our cars will come with climate control and the CD stereo installed, and will get the Sport trim with formed carbon fiber foldable seats wrapped in leather instead of the leather bucket seats standard elsewhere. We will also get subtle add-on rear bumpers per safety regs." Not crazy about "add-on" rear bumpers.

POST 4Original post

Based in the accuracy of that article (M96 engine?, steel calipers?, C4S body panels?) I don't see PCNA putting CF Sports Seats in the GT3; that would be sweet though.

POST 5Original post

I agree with MetalSolid, this article is full of holes and total BS. I've heard the British car mags have some better reviews but I haven't found any copies yet. Karl

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I agree with you Karl. The article sounded just like an Autoweek broadcast on Speed - typical American Cheese Whiz, Disneyland style, if you know what I mean. There was a German article out, but i have not see anything in this weeks Auto Express or AutoCar yet...

POST 7Original post

RR - Autocar has a review that says the new GT3 is the finest 911 variant ever produced. They were ecstatic!

Especially, when a new car is introduced. The text is largely taken from press releases and *may* be somewhat subjective depending on the car being reviewed. I hope this is not the case with the GT3 write-up, however.
