Somewhat disappointing info from my dealer today regarding my GT3

I finalized my specs about a month ago and they were waiting for the allocations to place my car in the system. The April build car they are getting is going to the dealers son. All reamaining cars go to customers and I have the second cust. allocation spot. Well they received their allocation numbers yesterday and the May build car was put in. But they received no GT3's for June or July build <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" /> So they aer telling me it could possibly be fall before I could get my car and that some dealers would only be getting one car total. Let the waiting games begin I guess.

What you�re saying was confirmed to me today. I have the #1 slot at my dealer and I'm placing the order on Thursday. My friend owns the dealership and he is taking the #2 car. He said to me today that PAG has not given out any dates on the #2's and beyond. He said all the #1 (first builds) will happen before the August break. After the break they should start on #2. If he is correct then the earliest they will be here (NA) is mid October. Good luck!

I have a deposit at my local dealer and was told twice, in writting, that I was #1 on the list. When I called to place the order I was told there was "another" list and that I am #16 now. Fortunatly, I'm #1 at another dealer and have ordered my GT3. Most of the dealers are scumbags imo. Roy

My dealer told me essentially the same thing. I have the #1 spot and they have a May build. He said all of the April - July allocations were out to the dealers and they did not expect to get another car until after the summer break. Karl

Talked to my dealer on monday and no one has ordered a gt3 through him.The dealer name is langan motor car in albany,N.Y. (518)374-9161 (ask for scott)He is the porsche salesman.It is a very small dealership. Hope this info helps someone on the rennlist board.

You may be I was told in writting that I was, twice. I have not decided how/if I will pursue this with them but I doubt I'll do business with them again. Are you getting one? What happened to the Maseratti deal? Roy

Not sure really. I clearly decided against the Maserati because I took one look at depreciation and nearly fainted <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> I really don't know about the GT3. I'm supposed to see Stillion tomorrow to view the order guide and make a decision... It depends on how much of a bath I will take on the trade-in of the yellow 996 I guess. JM

To order a GT3 try Bill Cook Porsche, in MI., at [phone removed],and ask for Mark Winkler. Craig at Go Porsche, [phone removed], said they had an allocation for July. I took Williamns, since its closer to Midland.
