Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need a mate to this connector: The schematic shows it as "telephone preparation", but doesn't indicate what plugs into it. It's located in the console, and has a ground, battery, ignition and radio mute circuits. Can anyone help me find a mating connector for it? Thanks, Pat

POST 2Original post

yup. Get it from Bekker http://www.harmanbecker.us/

POST 3Original post

That is the cell phone connector. I did not know Becker had the mate. If Becker does would you list the Becker part number. Several years ago someone found the mate and I saved the picture. I thought it was from Bird Automotive but I do not see it on the Bird site. I too would like this connector, so if anyone finds it please let me know. 5001.524-276 is what I just ordered from Becker. I'll post here if that wasn't the one!
