Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just took a pic of a 03'C2 from my local dealer (Pfaff Porsche)- with lots of options include new aero kit, 18" sport design wheels, custom paint, Bi-xenon, sport seats, painted seat back, carbon fiber, painted console, alum pkg, sport exhaust & etc..... total comes up to $137000CAD b4 tax !!! A 04' GT3 is starting @ $139000CAD, I wonder who would pay that much for a C2?!?!?!?!

POST 2Original post

I beat it! I shelled out $117k US for a C2, although the X51 and full carbon make up a bulk of the option price

POST 3Original post

Like the front lip or front aerokit. Can that be added on to the 02 spoiler? Ordered from the dealer? Cost? Thanks! 02 Targa AS/Blk

POST 4Original post

No you cant add the lip - you need to get the entire new Gt3 bumper! Mine is beng painted as we speak! Yippie!

POST 5Original post

I too was at the dealer yesterday, albeit for service, and saw a C2 with the extra ponies package and a sticker approaching $100K. I commented to the salesman, why would someone buy a C2 at that price with a GT3 coming out later this year. He shrugged his shoulders. A C2 would be fine for tooling around town, but do you really need the extra HP. If you do, why not buy the GT3? Apparently the GT3 will be hitting these shores in May. He intimated that he had one coming with an April build date.

POST 6Original post

Perhaps some people want a softer suspension and more luxury out of theie P-Car. God only knows why though.

POST 7Original post

When you start paying well over $100k for a C2, doesn't it make sense to start looking at the TT

POST 8Original post

I happen to agree with you, cable guy. I think some people just get carried away with the options. Another reason may be that rather than having a base TT that looks like everybody else's base TT, some people would rather spend oodles upgrading a C2 so that it is like no other C2 on this planet.

POST 9Original post

Plus (and I know some of you will find this hard to understand) not everyone wants a TT.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is very hard to believe

POST 11Original post

$100K for a C2?!?! As nice as the car is (very nice btw ) for a few Gs more you can have a 993 Turbo AND a 993 cab!!!

POST 12Original post

Problem is, when you ad options to the GT3 to make the interior "acceptable" to be in you are looking at $150,000CAD... and that is being conservative.
