Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is on a 99 C2? I have looked in the usual locations and can't seem to find it. TIA

POST 2Original post

Under the rear (corrected) center of the car. You need to remove the large plastic belly cover. This is a Boxster but it is the same location. <img src="http://web.dsldesigns.com/~ljcook/images/fuel_filter.jpg" alt=" - " />

Thanks Loren. I found your photo on another board. On my car, it is closer to the rear wheels. In fact, it is necessary to take off the rear plastic cover and the long center cover to get the damn thing out of there. I wish I had taken it to my brother-in-law's shop and done this project on his lift. I still smell gasoline on my hands and arms.
