Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently purchased a 2002 996 from prshguy. Love the car as well as the site. Figured I'd better post a pic before the "Pic Police" tracked me down !!!

POST 2Original post

Congrats advent, the car looks excellent. Enjoy her in good health.

POST 3Original post

Nice Car Is it me, or it looks too high up? Are those 18" wheels? Tim "pic cop" will pop in any second now- he will be half pleased * smiles *

POST 4Original post

Congratulations! You must be in cloud 9. Like the wheels, p-car looking very good. Does seem to be a touch high (from picture the angle?)

POST 5Original post

Look great, nice and clean. Those wheels look good with the black exterior.

POST 6Original post

those are 19s, less sidewall makes the gap look even bigger.... unless somebody blew their money buying replica 997TT 18" wheels which is just beyond me as i think they're ugly wheels with the black, polished silver face look so popular in the les schwab purchasing dept. regardless, welcome to da club.

POST 7Original post

Nice 02 Advent, car looks nice and I think your car height looks fine! Welcome to the forum with great info on P cars.

POST 9Original post

Congrat's and welcome...now lower it just a little OK

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Stance does appear higher than actual in pic due to angle, although I think lowering a bit is imminent. Wheels are 18". Never liked the original Turbo Spoke look. They Hollow Turbo Spokes will be up for sale shortly. Thoughts on most desireable lowering kits ????

POST 11Original post

nice looking p-car congrats...not a big fan of the 997 tt wheels, but this is what makes us all unique. enjoy in good health for many years. with respect to lowering kits there are many in the market. if you do not plan to track the car and do not want to spend a lot of money, just purchase a set of lowering springs...look at H&R, cargraphics, champion ect. however be aware that your ride quality will be much stiffer than with stock...good luck and welcome, the fun is just beginning.

POST 12Original post

I don't like black Porsches and I don't like those wheels. That being the case, why is it that I think your car looks so beautiful? I can't figure it out. Congratulations on your purchase and I hope most of your enjoyment comes from driving it, rather than looking at it parked in your garage. Regards.

POST 13Original post

Congrats on your beautiful P-car and welcome to Rennlist!

POST 14Original post

Welcome! Nice car! Tim is out of the office right now and he left Phil and I in charge of beating up the newbies for photos! It's nice to see a photo posted before we had to send in the blue hell devil to sort everyone out. - Love the turbo wheels. How about some interior pics? Pleeeeease.
