Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

This months' edition of the french "Flat 6" magazine has a featured article on it. wadda ya wanna know? JM
i have an X51 so i wanted to read what the testers said..can you scan it?
Jean-Marc, I would love to see performance #'s as I too have an X-51! It seems quite fast although I've tried not to exceed 4000-4500 rpm's. I have only about 700 miles on it. Thanks, blustem.
Me too! I have only 900 miles on mine. This car feels much faster than my former 996, so it would be great to see the stats, if they measured them.

Are you guys still interested?
The new issue of Excellence magazine has an X51 on the cover- yo may want to take a look at that.
I think that's an X 50, if I remember correctly. Also it's not a very good article. Reads like an advertisement, and endorsement of his purchase decision, instead of an objective review. I doubt if he has driven a GT2 to know the differences.
Just a quick comment on the X50 article in Excellence....It is terrible. He ordered 3 different Turbos from 3 different dealerships and eventually took one of them. Jerk....
As far as their journalism goes, Excellence is a lousy magazine. If you want an objective view you have to go to British Publications. All American rags, are that, just rags. Auto Express, Autocar, Car, and Evo are truly among the best, I dont even pick up an American mag anymore. I find British journalism to be the most unbiased. If you have ever listened or watched a CNN broadcast and then flipped over to a BBC broadcast on the same subject, you'd know what I mean. IMO America is full of story telling (see brainwashing).
Sorry! If you grew up in the North of Ireland (like I did), then you would never consider the BBC to be objective and unbiased. The BBC acts like an instrument of the government, but that too is off topic. Back to Porsche, I enjoy that so much more.
On the second thread subject, American Magazines, I've always liked a pub called "Sports Car International" or maybe it's "Sports Car Illustrated". If you've never seen it, pick on up... It's the only mag I subscribe to outside of AutoWeek. If I didn't have to pay for oversea's shipping, I'd subscribe to a number of UK mags as well as I agree with RR that they are generally excellent.

Or does the BBC now have a famous automobile publication that I need to be aware of? If you think the BBC is a tool of the government then it is not with inconsiderable irony that it's possible you may well have been brainwashed yourself. In the ROI and NI a lot of kids are brought up to hate other kids that are not of the same religion as them, maybe someone did an anti-BBC number on you? <img border="0" alt="[offtopic]" title="" src="graemlins/offtopic.gif" />
What really made David Colman ( author of the Excellence " ad " , oops , article , look silly is that he ordered this expensive loaded up X50 and felt triumphant getting a couple thousand off MSRP, when most of us here could have gotten at least 12-15K off a new X50 w/o even trying hard ! Article read like it was written by the GM of a dealership .

Christier, If you read RR's topic carefully you will note he did mention the BBC, and my comments were in context. Let's not argue about who's opinion is correct, we're just stating them and let others decide. And don't make guesses (incorrect) about what might or might not have happpened to me. Further, I sure don't want to get into Religion or Politics on this (or any other) forum. Let's stay on the Porsche topic, and I'm most interested in reading a review of the X 51.
Christer, it so happens that the BBC does indeed have a famous automobile publication that you should be aware of. It's called "Top Gear" and it's world class. I think it's every bit as good as Evo or CAR. And I have absolutely no opinion on the political argument in this thread. Just thought I should mention Top Gear.
I have been dissapointed with Excellence. I offered them my car for a psudo GT3 article back in September and they were all excited about it until they found out I was in NY and they in Cali. I offered to do some testing with them during a PCA DE at Limerock and they were too cheap to even fly the reporter out to NY. Not impressed by them... and still to date, no X51 article.
