Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have any of you tried a HID retrofit kit for the low/high beam H7 bulb?? I have seen kits selling for $400-$600 for 2 H7 bulbs on: http://www.hids4less.com/www/index.asp http://www.proxenon.com/ Could it be worthwile? Litronics are 3 to 4 times more expensive.

POST 2Original post

Litronic isn't that expensive: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code=00004490041&Category_C ode=POTE996EX If I remember correctly you can even get them for about $900.
