I was at a local dealer on Saturday (Pfaff Porsche, Toronto) and saw a 2003 C2 with the optional Aero Package. This package looked identical to the one on the GT3 pictures that I've seen on-line. My impressions were: 1- I was surprised to see how big the rear wing looks 2- The lower front bumper lip is quite nice and looks like a newer version of the older GT3 style Aero nose 3- The side skirts are the same that I've seen on 2002 and up cars with the optional skirts. The one thing that I haven't liked about recent Aero Kits (versus my 1999) is that the cars have the side skirts and that rear wing that I believe is the Cabriolet rear wing. The cars always seemed unfinished with the standard 2002 and up front bumper. This newer front bumper looks far more aggressive and finishes the car's look nicely. Bottom line? This new GT3 should look as good as it goes. Sign me up

Please go back to the dealer and get some pics of that car. Would really like to see what it looks like and what the GT3 is going to look like. I have seen teh promo pics on the Porsche site and in their literature just wanted to see one of these in person as it were.

That link is exactly what it looks like. I'd say that all of the promo pictures that we've seen of this GT3 are exactly what I saw at the dealership but it was not a GT3 and it didn't have those GT3 specific wheels. I'll go back and take some pics later this week. In the meantime, I ordered my new wheels today, BBS RS-GT two piece fully forged wheels. I can't wait for spring anymore.
GT3 wing looks much better in person than in pictures. I saw the new Aerokit 2 today which appears to be the entire GT3 setup. I have ordered a GT3, and my one reservation was on the look of the rear wing. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I feel better now that I have seen it in person.
Hey Alon, I'm in Toronto as well. Today, I saw the same car you did at Pfaff. Are you ordering a new GT3 as well? Are you a UCR member?
I am seriously thinking about it (even though I love my current car) and it's hard to argue with the power to weight ratio that the GT3 offers. Im waiting for John at Pfaff to call me once he has detailed order guides. Yes, I am a UCR member but I haven't been to any of the socials. You? You planning to track your car this spring/summer? I'd love to know how many guys here are from Toronto.
If you want to order GT3, I'd suggest you put a deposit in right away. Order package came out today: $139,900 Cdn. Yes, I plan to do 8 or 10 events this summer with UCR, NER, Dexter and possibly Tracquest. I don't go to many socials either, but I'm in the UCR winter go-kart racing league - great fun and good practice for track. I'm away for a while, but send me an email if you like and I'll reply when I get back: [email removed] Cheers
Quick question, I really liked the picture in the link of the aero kit but also liked the wheels. I've current got the 18" turbo wheels on my 2002 C2, does anyone know if the SportClassic II wheel shown in the picture is very heavy. Any comparison between it and the BBS wheels? Thanks!
